Parliament Monsoon Session Highlights PM Modi’s Strong Reply on Pahalgam Attack & Operation Sindoor

New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a strong and clear reply in Lok Sabha during the Monsoon Session of Parliament, calling the Pahalgam terror attack the “height of cruelty.”PM Modi said, “Terrorism will not be spared. Those who do it will be punished.”

He also spoke about Operation Sindoor, a strong military action taken by India after the April 22 Pahalgam attack, in which 26 people were killed. PM Modi said no country in the world asked India to stop the operation.

📞 PM Modi told a key detail – On the night of May 9, US Vice President JD Vance called him many times. Modi was in a meeting with army officers, so he could not take the call. Later, when he called back, the US Vice President warned him about a big attack from Pakistan.

PM Modi replied, “If Pakistan attacks, India’s answer will be much bigger. We will reply to bullets with cannons.”

💬 PM Modi also said no world leader told India to stop Operation Sindoor. “Pakistan’s DGMO begged us to stop after heavy losses. He said – ‘We can’t take it anymore.’”

🛑 PM Modi took a dig at the opposition, saying, “India is becoming self-reliant, but Congress is becoming dependent on Pakistan for issues.”

🔴 Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had earlier attacked the government, asking why Operation Sindoor was stopped in 22 minutes. He also said the opposition supported the government during the strike and asked PM Modi to say if Donald Trump was lying about brokering peace.

⚔️ Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking in Rajya Sabha, said Operation Sindoor sent a strong message not only to Pakistan, but also to those who support terrorism. He said, “If Pakistan cannot act against terror, India is ready to help.”

🚨 Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed that the 3 terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev were involved in the Pahalgam attack.

 

👩‍💼 Priyanka Gandhi also attacked the government, asking why no security forces were present at the site during the Pahalgam attack.

🗣️ Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge questioned the India-Pakistan ceasefire deal after the strike and criticized the PM for not speaking against Trump, who claimed to broker peace 29 times.
